Hey Parents! We wanted to share with you an important update regarding some upcoming changes with GTC Kids.
Starting Sunday, June 19th, Kids Ministry will begin at 10:00am. Kids will go directly to their classes after checking in rather than being dismissed from the Main Auditorium. Should you arrive before then, rooms will open at 9:45am to receive children.
Kids in Grades 1-6 will begin the morning in the Lower Chapel as they have done for the past couple of months. There they will participate in worship, games, object lessons, and it is also where we will teach the weekly lesson. Midway through the morning, kids will transition to the third floor of Glad Tidings Church for small group time. They will stay within their grade group to better facilitate connection with peers. Dismissal will take place on the third floor at your child’s classroom. We hope this will provide a much smoother and swifter checkout process for you and your child.
Kids in Kindergarten and Preschool will also start at 10:00am with classrooms opening at 9:45am. The added time will provide your child the opportunity to sing songs and dive deeper into the lesson through hands on activities and creative object lessons.
Our nurseries will continue to be open to receiving your little ones at 9:45 am and throughout the service.
We recognize how important it is for children to experience things like corporate worship, baby dedications, water baptism, and the speaking and interpretation of tongues. We also recognize the importance of kids experiencing those things within their family unit. We will provide opportunities for children to join their families on a regular basis so they are able to experience church in the Main Auditorium.
