Children (Newborn to Grade 6)

We have a growing desire to see the hearts of this next generation ignited with passion. We want your children to know they have been created with a purpose and unique gifting from God. We want to see your kids go out and change this world for Christ. We want to equip you as the parent and partner with you to influence your child. This is done in a nurturing safe environment from ages newborn-12.
Sundays
Welcome to GTC Kids! We’re glad you’re here! Come along with us as we take you on a photo tour of our Kids Ministry programs!
Check-in
Our self-serve check-in stations are in the foyer close to the main doors. When you check-in your kids for our Sunday programs, you’ll get a printed name tag for them as well as an identification sticker. Please keep this number handy, as you’ll need to show it upon child pickup.
If you’re a new family, welcome! All new family registrations will happen at the Family Check-in Station in the foyer. We’ll ask you a few questions to set up your family profile. You can use your phone number to check-in your kiddies next time you arrive! Read more about our church if you’re new.
The Program
Church starts at 10am on Sundays. Kids in K-Grade 6 are dismissed during the service (after worship and during our announcements). Younger children can enter our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Rooms starting at 9:45am. Grades 7-12 alternate between a class and volunteering in our Kids Ministry programs.
Kids in Grade 1 will meet in the Upper Chapel before heading up to their class upstairs. Grades 2-6 will head downstairs to the Lower Chapel for a time of group songs and lessons. Midway through the morning, kids will transition to the third floor of Glad Tidings Church for small group time where they continue to learn and connect with peers their age. Dismissal and child pickup takes place on the third floor at your child’s classroom.
We take your child’s safety seriously! Here’s just some of the measures we have in place so GTC can be a safe place for all:
- Volunteers are screened, go through yearly protection training and have criminal record checks
- We have a security team that rotates through the building and keeps main doorway areas locked while Kids Min is taking place
- We have emergency procedures in place and practice drills regularly
- Our check-in tag system ensures your child is only picked up by you
- Rooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly

The Rooms
Childcare
Nursery is available during morning service beginning at 9:45am. There’s also a comfortable space for nursing moms here and a livestream of the service, too! We also have toddler, preschool and kindergarten programs! Check out these rooms below!
Kid’s Church
Kids Grades 2-6 head downstairs to the Lower Chapel after they are dismissed during the service.
Midway through the program kids head upstairs to the third level. We’ve got lots of classroom space for small group time! You’ll pick up your children up here! Click to scroll through photos of our classrooms!
Playgroup
Come play with us! Drop in with your toddler (babies are welcome!) weekly on Wednesdays from 10am-noon. Please join the group for more information.
