When It’s Good to Say Goodbye? 📖 John 16:5–7; John 14:16–17, 26–27 Have you ever felt unsure, uncomfortable, or even hesitant when it comes to the Holy Spirit? In Week 1 of our new series Ghosted, Pastor Curtis Gudrie explores a surprising truth Jesus shared with His disciples: it was actually good for them that He left. Why? Because Jesus wasn’t abandoning them—He was sending the Holy Spirit. In this message, we unpack: Why goodbyes can be scary, and how fear of the unknown can keep us from what God is doing next What Jesus meant when He promised “another Helper”—not lesser, but the same divine nature How the Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Advocate, Guide, Teacher, and Empowerer Why the Holy Spirit never “ghosts” us—and what it means to live with God’s presence within us How the Spirit helps us know Jesus more deeply and gives us the power to live on mission Jesus walked beside the disciples. The Holy Spirit walks within us. You are not alone. You are not abandoned. And you were never meant to live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit. 👉 If this message encourages you, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share. 🙏 If you’d like to support what God is doing through our church, you can give online through the link below. www.gtsudbury.ca/give
