We all face lions in life: challenges, pressures, and situations that test our faith. But how do we remain faithful to God when we find ourselves in the middle of difficult circumstances?
In this week’s message from our Thrive: The Book of Daniel series, Pastor Curtis Gudrie takes us through Daniel 6 and the familiar story of Daniel in the lions’ den. Through Daniel’s example, we’re reminded that faithfulness isn’t developed in a moment of crisis; it’s built through a consistent, daily relationship with God.
Daniel didn’t know how his story would end, but he knew the God he was trusting. His courage reminds us that while we may not be able to choose the lions we face, we can choose how we prepare to face them.
Our encouragement this week:
- Build your devotion before the den.
- Choose faithfulness, even when the outcome is uncertain.
- Let your faithfulness point others to Jesus.
Whatever lions you may be facing today, remember our God is still able! Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep being faithful.
