What do you do when you feel forgotten, overwhelmed, disappointed, or distant from God?

In Psalm 13, David shows us that we do not have to ignore our emotions, be controlled by them, or run from God because of them. Instead, we can bring our pain honestly to God and allow His character and truth to reshape our perspective.

In this message, Pastor Curtis Gudrie shares how we can shepherd our emotions by: • Getting real with God • Praying honestly and asking God to act • Speaking truth to our souls • Choosing worship because of who God is Feelings are real, but they were never meant to lead us.

They can be helpful indicators, but God alone is our Shepherd. When your heart hurts, pain will always take you somewhere.

Will it lead you toward bitterness, isolation, and control or toward prayer, trust, and dependence on God?
